We will be painting a cross-section of prairie grasses and their root systems, while simultaneously learning about the importance of healthy soil and prairie conservation.
No prior skills, knowledge, or tools are required- all steps will be explained as we learn about each component of a healthy plains ecosystem, and paint supplies will be provided.

About your Guide: As a huge fan of plant earth, Abby is very passionate about prairie conservation, soil health, and climate resilience. She is currently attending UNMC for a Master of Public Health, and has been instructing art classes for 7 years.
