Soil Health Painting Class
Please join us for a soil health painting class! We will be painting a cross-section of prairie grasses and their root systems, while simultaneously learning about the importance of healthy soil and prairie conservation. No prior skills, knowledge, or tools required- all steps will be explained as we learn about each component of a healthy plains ecosystem, and paint supplies will be provided.

Online Fall Plant Sale
Starting July 24th, we will be hosting our ONLINE ONLY, Fall Plant Sale!
Our online shop will open Monday, July 24th at 8 am, and remain open until Tuesday, August 1st at 8 pm. All plants are $2.75, and, since we have limited inventory, everything is first come, first serve while supplies last.
Curbside pickup will take place on August 2nd, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We will NOT be hosting an in-person shopping day this year.

Whispering Roots Annual Plant Swap
Join Whispering Roots for their annual Plant Swap on Friday, June 16th from 9am-12pm! This year we will be at the Big Muddy Food Forest, 3217 California Street. Bring any extra outdoor plants you might have left (vegetables, annuals, natives) and/or come take what you still need for your garden! You do not have to bring anything in order to come get plants! All plants are free and all are welcome! The goal is to find homes for any plants still out there that haven’t made it into the ground and would otherwise be thrown away.
